How To Cope With Your Home Business And Your Daily Tasks

One of the attractions of working at home is the vision of freedom it invokes.No time clock, no time sheets, and no one to account to for how you spend your time. Yes, it is an attractive proposition, but like so many attractive propositions there is a heavy downside. TIME WASTING.

 Yes I said it! I will admit I'm occasionally guilty of it as well.  I can easily get distracted if I allow it. And I'm not talking about emergencies. I'm talk more about pesky little things like. For example. Television, Social Media, Video Games and ect. 

Like so many other stay at home moms. I feel like there's never enough time in the day. Between  my 5 year daughter, my husband, household  chores, and my virtual  business. Oh and how can I forget. Trying to fit some time in, just for myself. It's just never enough time. 

So how does one stay on-task? The best way I've found is to have a To Do List. Which is best to plan it out the night before. So you know exactly what you need to accomplish the next day. 

Having my day  planned out has helped me tremendously.Which has improved my productivity. Now of  course I'm not saying that having a To Do List. Will stop emergencies from happening. Because that life! Also it's not  going to stop a million things, that will try to vie for your attention and time. It will even feel like the world is plotting against you. Like for instance.At this very moment as I'm writing this. My 5 years old . Keeps popping in and out the office asking for Popcorn lol.

Having a To Do List keeps you focus and motivated on the things that needs to be done for the day. I don't know if anyone else have notice this. But if you don't plan your day.Your day will  plan YOU. 

It's too easy to waste time doing non productive tasks. And if  not focus. It's easy to get sidetracked or distracted from your current task. When you don't schedule your time. Unscheduled work time can often overlap into your free time.Until you don't have any free time at all. Plus vice verse where your free time can overlap into your work time. Until you fall behind with your daily task. Concentrating your time and effort on your daily task means more gets done.

 So whether you write your To Do List on paper, use Google Calendar, or One Note. It doesn't matter. As Nike says "Just Do It'. 

Just like having a schedule working outside the home. You would need a schedule working at home. And if you don't think you need one. Then think again lol.

 The best way to chart yourself to successful. Is to take care of  business and stay on task.

Free And Low Cost Ways To Generate Traffic Online

As everyone knows. That has a business online. One of the things that we always strive for. Is finding ways to  generate traffic to our websites or blogs. Because high traffic usually results in sales.

There are many was to generate a steady stream of traffic to your site. Whether it's free, high cost, or low cost. Now I'm NO expert, however I'm willing to share what I do know, and what has worked for me. And hopefully if you take ACTION. It will work for you as well.    

 Now if your just starting out, on a budget, don't have the resources, or just don't believe in spending  a lot of money on advertising. There are many ways to generate low cost and free website traffic.Without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. 

Now I do have to be honest. It will take you more time to generate traffic this way, however it is not less effective. To make this work all you need is the time,the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness to succeed. So here we go...

Traffic Exchange: They are free to use, however they do have an options to upgrade if you choose. It like exchanging links for credits that you earn.You can use the credits you earn, viewing other sites that marketers are advertising. This is done vice versa. You both benefit from each others efforts to generate traffic. If interested  visitors will click on your site to get even more information.Which will help boost  the awareness of your site(s). 

 Join Online Communities and Forums:This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same subject or niche with your site.

Share your two cents and let them see how knowledgeable you are with the subject. As you build your reputation, you also build the reputation of your site. Remember people work with people.

Safelist: Safelist are free to join. And are similar to Traffic Exchanges. You receive credits there as well, and have the option to upgrade if you choose. However unlike Traffic Exchanges. Safelist is a list of members who all agree to receive promotional emails.

 You will earn credits every time you view another members emails.You can spend the credits on sending out emails to the other members of the safelist. My suggestion to you. If you stay as a free member .To choose a  Safelist that you can at least mail out to 1000 people (anything less then that is not worth it(Now that just my opinion). Also it's best to have an separate email address just for receiving emails for the Safelist. Because you will receive an enormous amount of emails   

 Banners Ads: A  banner ad is a form of advertising on the World Wide Web delivered by an ad server. This form of online advertising entails embedding an advertisement into a web page. It is intended to attract traffic to a website by linking to the website of the advertiser. Now there are  many Banners site you can use. That are very low cost. Some  have a monthly fee or a one time fee. I like banner site because it's a set and forget type of advertising. Also Traffic Exchanges offers banner ads for free. 

 Blogging: A blog is a great way to promote and get the word out informing others.That could pique the attention of people that have  an interest in your product or service. Having good content on  your site. Will also attract  the search engines. Which in turn. The search engine will  track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. You don't have to be a professional writer or a writer at all to have a blog.  Anyone can write a blog. "You don't have to be great to get started. But you have to get started to be great." 

Generally, internet users use search engines to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keyword searching in aiding their search results. With the right keywords, you could get high rankings in search engine results without the costs.

Now these are just a few free to low cost ways that I use. That have been very effective for me. All of these methods mentioned above will drive more traffic to your site for free. All it takes is a bit of effort and extended hours. If you haven't already. Take the time to learn all you can about the methods here, and in time you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that come with it.

Starting Your Own Online Business

Hello everyone! Patricia Stevenson here. 

The last time we talked. I discuss the "Benefits of have an Online Business". Well today I want to continue, and  talk about starting your own online/home-based business.

There are literally thousands of affiliate marketing programs/business opportunities. Available online and off. Where you can start your own home-based business.

People choose to work from home, for several reasons. Including the desire to stay home with their children, the need for extra income, or simply being dissatisfied with their current job. A home-based business will provide you with an exciting way to make money and be your own boss. 

When starting your home-based business you should develop a  plan and research your options thoroughly, doing your due diligence. And making a plan and following it each step of the way. It  can help you stay focus and gives you a   blue print on how to create a steady stream of income.

 Operating an home-based business will require hard work and effort. You will not become wealthy over night. It will take determination to succeed as an internet marketer/business owner. The amount of money you make will be directly related to the amount of work you are willing to put into it.

 Now when you create your plan. Write it down and make it plain. You want to include both short and long term goals. Determine how you will achieve those goals and put your plan into action. And you will start to wonder, and do the what ifs.  Do not let self-doubt stop you from accomplishing your goals.  Believe in yourself and your abilities. Knowing you have GREATNESS in YOU.  Mixing that with hard work and determination. You will see your home-based business  be successful  and provide you with a steady stream of income. If you don't quit!

 Make customer service a top priority. Whether your doing Sales, MLM, Direct Marketing , or Affiliate. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Don't just get the sale and run.  Not offering assistants. Especially when you build a  team. 

 As Zig Zilar says  "You get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want." That another important  key to the success or failure  in  business.
